This film tells the story of a surprise reunion at Disneyland, set in motion by a daughter who wants to give her father back some of the joy he's given her over the years.
 

For generations, Hispanic guests have lovingly called the park Disneylandia. And Disneylandia is aún más feliz contigo. Even happier with you, and with the people you love. For our hero, no one matters more than his mother, our Abuela.
 

But the film is only half the story. The other half is who made it.
 

This was crafted by people of Hispanic and Latino culture, start to finish. The internal creative team. The director. The executive producer, director of photography, editor, music composer, sound mixers, and the talent.

Our Abuela is played by Socorro Bonilla, the accomplished Mexican actress whose work spans decades of beloved film and television. Reuniting with her felt right for a story about coming home, family, and the magic of the Happiest Place on Earth.
 

Our Disneylandia.

I led the creative vision for Disneylandia, a campaign built to honor the relationship Hispanic and Latino families have held with Disneyland for generations. The work centered on one belief: authenticity isn't a tone you apply, it's a team you build and their shared expression of the realities of how they show up.
 

That meant assembling a creative team rooted in the culture the story was meant to reflect, and protecting that authenticity through every decision, from concept and casting to direction, music, and final edit. I guided the emotional throughline of the film, anchored the campaign in real multigenerational family experiences, and championed casting Socorro Bonilla to bring depth and recognition to the role of Abuela.
 

The result is a campaign that doesn't speak to an audience. It speaks with them. Human insight as the truth, strategy as the decision, and the creative as the proof.
